We’re thrilled to share that Gravers Lane Gallery was recently featured on CBS News as part of Chestnut Hill’s Fall for the Arts Festival! This annual event transforms Germantown Avenue into a vibrant outdoor art fair, celebrating local and national artists and makers across various mediums. As always, Fall for the Arts brings together art lovers, collectors, and the local community. The festival provides a platform for artists to connect with new audiences, and we were honored to share our space and mission with an even wider viewership through CBS News. Throughout the morning, CBS checked in with multiple businesses on Germantown Avenue to showcase their plans for Fall for the Arts.

The CBS News segment highlighted our dedication to showcasing contemporary craft, with a special focus on our current exhibitions and the incredible talent we represent. Gallery Director, Chloë Le Pichon, highlighted pieces from exhibitions Serious Fun and Across Ten Thousand Mountains, explaining the work that goes into the pieces, as well as highlighting the uniqueness of the work we carry. Chloë also made mention of our special activity planned for Fall for the Arts, zip-tie necklace making with local resident and artist, Trudy Wang. Kids can stop at our tent in front of the gallery to make a necklace from colorful zip ties for free, guided by Trudy and our gallery staff. While the kids are busy crafting, we encourage parents to pop into the gallery and browse our collection.
