Chloë leads the gallery’s vision, strategy, and operations, ensuring its exhibitions, artistic direction, and daily activities align with our mission to support, represent and increase the visibility of Contemporary Studio Craft, recognizing its vital role in shaping the broader landscape of Contemporary Art. From curating exhibitions to overseeing day-to-day management, Chloë’s thoughtful and dynamic approach creates a cohesive and enriching experience for artists and clients alike. She welcomes communication from artists, organizations, and clients who are interested in collaborating with Gravers Lane Gallery.
Born in London, U.K., Chloë Le Pichon came to the United States from Hong Kong, having grown up in a multicultural, bilingual household. Chloë has always been immersed in and cultivated a passion for Art and Art history. Graduating with a major in Studio Art from Swarthmore College in 2005, Chloë discovered her profound affinity for ceramics under the mentorship of esteemed artists Syd Carpenter and Doug Herren. As a ceramist, early on, she worked for the Claystudio’s Claymobile, and throughout the years shared her expertise through private ceramic classes to children and adults. She maintained a ceramic home studio, balancing her creative pursuits with the responsibilities of raising three children. Under the alias Demeter Blooming, Chloë continues to exhibit her work, take workshops and collaborate on artistic projects.
Chloë assumed the role of Director of Admissions for Main Line Classical Academy, a nascent private school dedicated to the Liberal Arts in 2019. In this capacity, she applied her organizational acumen and interest in Education to significantly expand the school's enrollment. Her contributions extended beyond administrative duties to encompass marketing initiatives, team building, and community engagement. At Gravers Lane Gallery since 2023, Chloë is now able to combine her knowledge and love of Contemporary Studio Craft, with her strong leadership and organisation skills. She looks forward to expanding the Gallery’s reputation, impact and reach.
